How does the 7-day free trial work?

When you subscribe, you get 7 days to use every feature at no cost. You won't be charged until the trial ends. Cancel anytime before that and you pay nothing.

Is there a free version?

MoosePad offers a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. After the trial, a subscription is required to continue using the app.

Can I switch between monthly and annual?

Yes. You can change your plan at any time in your App Store subscription settings. If you switch from monthly to annual, the change takes effect at your next billing date.

Does one subscription work on all my devices?

Yes. A single subscription covers your iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Just sign in with the same Apple ID on each device.

How does Family Sharing work?

If you have Family Sharing set up through Apple, up to five additional family members can use MoosePad with your subscription. Each person's meeting data stays private to their own device and iCloud account.

Do I need a meeting bot?

No. MoosePad records audio directly from your device's microphone. There's no bot joining your call, no screen sharing required, and no one else in the meeting will know you're recording unless you tell them.

What can MoosePad summarize?

Any meeting or conversation that MoosePad records or any audio file you import. It works for video calls, in-person meetings, phone calls, lectures, interviews, and more. The AI summary includes an overview, topic sections, action items, and key takeaways.

Does MoosePad work for in-person and virtual meetings?

Yes, both. For virtual meetings (Zoom, Teams, FaceTime, etc.), MoosePad records through your device microphone. For in-person meetings, just set your device nearby and hit record.

How fast are summaries generated?

Summaries are generated right after your meeting ends. For most meetings, it takes just a few seconds. Longer recordings may take a bit more time.

Can I edit and organize my notes?

Yes. You can edit meeting titles, organize meetings into folders, and search across all your transcripts and titles. You can also add your own timestamped notes during a recording.

Is my data private?

Yes. Transcription runs on your device using Apple Speech Framework. Summaries are generated using cloud AI, but no audio is ever uploaded. Your recordings, transcripts, and notes stay on your device and in your personal iCloud account.

How do I cancel?

Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad, tap your name, then Subscriptions. On Mac, open the App Store and go to your account settings. You can cancel at any time and keep access through the end of your billing period.
